Last time I was at Hitzer in Berne, they told me that because they didn't buy the 'windmill' part of the business everything windmill related was destroyed. But ...not sure that's quite right, as I thought I also heard somewhere else some of that stuff was sold and went to Canada???

I ran across a news clip from the Toledo Blade (3/31/99) that was talking about the plant being demolished, It also mentioned a Guy that bought some of the equipment ... does not say what.

Search Heller Aller and Tony Gallagher and it will come up in Google News.
Thanks,
Ed

Mister Ed,
That's correct, I can't remember the guys name, I believe it was someone that worked there. Also I have photo's from when the plant was demolished.

Correct, I actually posted the guys name above ... a goolge search of his name and H.A. will bring up the article.

Kicking an old topic up, so did you find the case you needed for your Model 6 Windmill Farm?

Tony G's wife died in November, but a few sources say he may yet still have the 'windmill making molds' for H-A's. I've never gotten any replies when I leave a message.

That looks good, I'm not entirely familiar with the 'smaller' H-A oil baths, but is that tail casting upside down in the pic?

Oh no. That means if the casting gets turned right, the tail will be upside down. Oh woe is me.
