2014, 15 and 16 International Windmillers Trade Fair

The Southwest Pioneer Windmill Association of Spearman, Texas put in their bid to host the 2015 Trade Fair in...well you probably guessed, Spearman, Texas.

Ralph Wiebusch (I probably misspelled his last name), Dan and Jud Herrig put in their bid to host the 2015 Trade Fair in Rochester, Minn.

A vote was held at the banquet and Ralph, Dan and Jud will be holding the 2015 Trade Fair in Rochester.

Also, the Mid-America Windmill Museum in Kendallville, Indiana has declared that they are interested in hosting the 2016 Trade Fair. A vote will be held at the 2014 Fair to see if anyone else runs against them or if they run unopposed.

So the next few years look like this:

2014 - Calhan, Colorado hosted by the Ballsick family.

2015 - Rochester, Minnesota hosted by Ralph Wiebusch, Dan and Jud Herrig.

2016 - unknown with the Mid-America Windmill Museum showing interest.

Allan - It's my understanding that they were putting in for the 2015 Trade Fair, along with Rochester. At the banquet we voted and Rochester won, so at this time Spearman is not hosting a Fair. Maybe they will put in for the 2016 Fair and we'll have to vote between Spearman and Kendalville, or maybe they'll put in for another year?
